  8.      necessary preparations for the success of an expedition. 
  9.      Coercing reality to do one‚Äôs bidding by manipulating it in 
  10.      the prescribed manner is, for the nonliterate, a part of 
  11.      reality.
  12.           It is necessary to understand that nonliterate 
  13.      peoples identify themselves very much more closely with 
  14.      the world in which they live than do the literate peoples of
